Facts

Education Systems

Ethics and Integrity:

Malaysia is currently the world's 11th most preferred study abroad destination. According to UNESCO, Malaysia has captured a 2% market share of international students in the fast growing private education sector. Malaysian Primary education is of a period of 6 years and secondary education is of a 5 years which encompasses 3 years of lower secondary and 2 years of upper secondary make up 11 years of free education. The admission age to the first year of primary education is seven. Primary schooling is mandatory for all children between the ages of 7 and 12. Students sit for common public examinations at the end of primary, lower secondary and upper secondary levels.

Post-secondary Education

Upon completion of secondary education, students can opt to pursue 1 to 2 years of post-secondary education. This is the university entrance preparatory course. In total, the 12 years of school education serves as the basic entry requirement into Year One of a bachelor’s degree program in higher educational institutions.

Tertiary or Higher Education:

Admission Process

Step1:strong> Student along with his/her guardian has to meet us at our office for a over all counselling. Our expert & Skilled counselling team assists to select his/her suitable institution and course of study as per student's future ambition, academic background and other requirements, financial abilities etc.

Step 2:strong> After an effective counselling student should supply us all the required documents;Certificates & transcripts, Medical report from EMGS approved clinics, passport and photograph. This step student should pay Application fee/EMGS FEE/ 1st payment as per institution's fee structure.

Step 3: Student gets enrollment with the intended higher educational institution which has official approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs to recruit international students.

Step 4: The institution will then apply for a Visa approval at the Malaysian Immigration Department in Malaysia prior to the arrival.

Step 3: A Visa Approval Letter (VAL) for a student pass is to be released by the Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) to the educational institution and sent to the student in while he/she is still in own country by the institution which offered a place to study.

Step 4: After getting VAL, student is to submit passport and other relevant documents to the Malaysian High Commission in his/ her home country for a single entry visa to Malaysia.

Step 5: Before leaving the country for Malaysia, student must inform the educational institution the port of entry (airport), flight number, arrival date and time. Upon the arrival at the airport in Malaysia, the educational institution’s representative will receive the student at the immigration check-point at the Malaysian airport. A visa will be issued at the entry point in the form of an endorsement on valid national passport. A Special Pass will be issued at the entry point to refer the student to the nearest State Immigration Department for issuance of a Student Pass.

Step 6: Within 2 weeks of student’s arrival, the educational institution will submit his/her passport to the Immigration Department to affix the Student Pass sticker. This process may take about 6 to 8 weeks.

  • Foundation Program: BDT 150000-BDT 250000 in 1 year
  • Diploma Program: BDT 300000- BDT 45000 in 2.5- 3 years
  • Under Graduate Program: BDT 500000- BDT 900000 in 3-4 years
  • Post Graduate Program: BDT 400000- BDT 600000 in 2 years
  • Doctoral: BDT 900000-BDT 1200000
Living Expense:

International students enjoys relatively cheap cost of living in Malaysia. The total cost of expenditure for accommodation, either on campus or off-campus, is affordable. The average monthly rental, depending on Location and choice, for a single room (twin sharing) per student is between BDT 62500 – BDT12500. Other expenses such as food, transportation, laundry and other essentials, based on an ordinary lifestyle are mated between BDT 7500 – BDT 8500 per month.

Working Facility for the student:

Malaysian student-friendly overseas student to work while studying for their degree for up to 20 hours part-time per week during semester breaks or holidays of more than 7 days (subject to immigration requirements). This enables him/her to earn extra money to support. Generally a fresh or unskilled student can earn their initially BDT 25000 – 35000 that may cover their living expense.
